We’re here because we must. We want you to be happy with your product—and we want peace of mind. So let’s lay down some ground rules:

🖌️ Design Placement Is Yours to Choose

Design placement is adjustable across all products. Whether you prefer right, center, left—or any location suitable for print—we will honor your preference.

Tumblers and mugs default to left placement for optimal visibility, but most products are customizable upon request. Simply let us know your desired layout.

Prior to fulfillment, you may request design adjustments including centering, offsetting, resizing, or background removal. Each product is prepared with intentional care to reflect your vision.

If your order calls for a personalized touch—such as adding a name or icon—we may inscribe it at no additional charge. A preview will be provided before the product is sealed for fulfillment.

Quote-Free Bags: Customization Policy

Certain items on the sites are sold as is. But they can be customized with your name. Due to the complexity of the canvas backgrounds, major design restructures are not guaranteed.

You may submit a customization request, but approval is not promised.  We ask that you only purchase if you already love the item as it stands.  

If you're unsure, please do not buy.  

Instead, email us. We’ll walk you through the product before you make a selective purchase.

📦 Order Processing

Standard Orders

Customers who purchase a product already listed on the site will receive a confirmation within 23–48 hours. During this period, minor design refinements may be made to ensure proper alignment, formatting, and print readiness. Once finalized, the order will proceed to fulfillment.

Personalized Orders

Customers requesting personalization—including name, iconography, quote—must first purchase the base product listed on the site. Upon confirmation of payment, the design will be reviewed and adjusted accordingly.

Please allow up to 72 hours for customization, preview, and customer approval before the order is sent to fulfillment.

Note: We do not create new designs beyond the one you purchased.

If you prefer the placement shown on the site, no note is needed—we’ll fulfill as is.

📏 Size Description Policy

We ask that you PLEASE read the size description listed on each product page and choose accordingly. Each item is unisex unless otherwise noted. Fit may vary slightly by style, fabric, and cut.
If you’re unsure, we recommend choosing based on your preferred fit. All items are made to order. We do not accept returns or exchanges due to sizing issues. 

🛍️ Order Fulfillment & Shipping

All products are made to order. Please allow 3–7 business days for production prior to shipment.

Shipping times vary by destination:

•  Domestic (U.S.): 3–4 business days

•  International: 4–8 business days (subject to customs clearance)

Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties or import taxes. Kat’s Tale is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or acts beyond our control.

🔁 Returns & Refunds

Due to the custom nature of each item, returns and exchanges are not accepted unless the product arrives damaged or incorrect.

To request a replacement:

•  Contact us within 7 days of delivery

•  Include your order number and clear photos of the issue

Requests outside this window or lacking documentation may be denied.

To prevent issues, we’ll email a mockup for your approval before printing.

📦 Lost or Undelivered Orders

If your order appears lost or undelivered:

•  Verify your shipping address

•  Check with your local postal service

•  Contact us for support

If the address provided was incorrect, reshipment costs are the customer’s responsibility.

🧵 Product Disclaimer

Each item is printed on demand. Minor variations in color, placement, and texture may occur and are considered part of the product’s uniqueness. These are not defects—they’re evidence of individuality.

Kat’s Tale reserves the right to update product specifications, pricing, and availability without prior notice.
